Sunshine Nursery School
This is were our involvement began. Just one classroom existed and we are proud to have assisted with the development of 3 additional classrooms and a watchmans house. Our love of this small remote school fuels our determination to complete the other developments we have planned.
There are 120 children attending Sunshine Nursery from the age of 3 to 7 years. The teachers have very limited resources but do an amazing job and the children here are extremely happy. In 2022 we hope to further develop the outdoor area by installing an amazing outdoor adventure play structure donated by the charity FEW.
We continue to support the Nursery by sending educational resources and offering child sponsorship which has a massive positive impact on the financial sustainability of the nursery. Families in this village are living in extreme poverty therefore the school does not charge fees for children to attend. The children gain so much from this early education.
